Woodstock Celebrates 40th Anniversary in NYC with Grateful Dead, Sha Na Na, Santana, and Creedence Clearwater Revival

Woodstock's 40th Anniversary celebration kicked off June 4th with a launch party at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York, staged in conjunction with the release of the Directors Cut of the 1970 Oscar-winning documentary "Woodstock: 3 Days of Peace and Music/Ultimate Collector's Edition" on DVD.

Attendees at this kick-off event included band members from Santana, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Grateful Dead, and Sha Na Na and Richie Havens along with the "Woodstock" Director Michael Wadleigh, fellow filmmakers and festival organizers.
