Day of the African Child - Helping Save Lives of Congo's Indigenous Children
The Day of the African Child has been celebrated on June 16 every year since 1991. This year's theme of Child Survival is highlighted as UNICEF and its partners work together in remote communities to bring Congo's indigenous children basic health services and to register all newborns in the community.
