Penfolds Hosts Vertical Tasting at Vinexpo, Bordeaux

Penfolds hosted a vertical tasting of one of their most popular wines, Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz on June 22nd where the same wines were sampled simultaneously across the globe, via an interactive webcast. Six different vintages of Penfolds Bin 389, often referred to as 'Baby Grange', were tasted at events in 12 locations worldwide, including the US, Germany, Australia, the UK, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sweden, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore.

It is the latest stunt in a history of Australian wine innovation designed to break down barriers in how wine is perceived globally by showcasing, from the heart of the Old wine world, the longevity of this Australian classic with vintages including 1976, 1985, 1991, 1998, 2002 and 2006.
