Klima DM is a competition for danes to come up with ideas for climate solutions in various fields. The event's aim is to motivate Danish people to work with climate solutions and to educate them within climate activities.

Denmark is one of the biggest users of renewable energy in the world, with the sector comprising around 500 Danish companies, employing 32,000 people (21,000 in wind technology alone) and bringing in annual revenues of $10 billion, according to Danish government figures.
