World Champion Tyson Gay Talks

World Champion Tyson Gay Talks About His Potential Ahead of U.S. Championship Trials

One and two hundred metre World Champion Tyson Gay says he has not reached his full potential in the sport of sprinting yet. The soft spoken American who ran the third fastest time in history for 200 meters (19.58 seconds) at the Reebok Grand Prix this year is hoping to retain his titles in both the one and two hundred at the Berlin World Championships.

Only Michael Johnson (19.32) and World Record holder Usain Bolt (19.30) have ever run a faster 200 meters and Gay's showdown with Olympic Champion Bolt is the most hotly awaited contest in athletics at the moment.
