Hillary Clinton Urges North Korea to Grant Release of Two U.S. Journalists

U.S. Department of State - Following a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia on June 8, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke to the press about the two U.S. journalists being detained in North Korea.

Clinton said "we are deeply concerned about the length of the sentences and the fact that this trial was conducted totally in secret with no observers. And we're engaged in all possible ways through every possible channel to secure their release and we once again urge North Korea to grant their immediate release."
