Extremadura Government in Spain Completes Electronic Prescription Implementation With IBM
IBM, the Extremadura Health Department, and the Official Associations of Pharmacists of Extremadura have fully implemented the e-prescription system throughout the Extremadura region in Spain. A total of 680 chemists and 107 healthcare centers can now dispense and prescribe medicines electronically, saving time for both doctors and patients and avoiding unnecessary visits.
