Civil transport passenger aircrafts in India has new dimension with M/s. UAC, Moscow signing with BEML India, the multi-business and multi-location Public Sector Enterprise under the India Ministry of Defence, is news development saying memorandum of agreement sign between India Russia at International Aero Show at Paris.
The MoA has been signed by BEML Boss Mr Umesh Chandra, Executive Director (Defence Business), BEML and Mr. Vladmir A. Belyakov, Marketing Director, UAC, MOSCOW. The purpose of this MoA is to explore and exploit business opportunities in production, sales, marketing and maintenance of civil transport as well as passenger aircrafts in India.
BEML has recently diversified further its business into Aerospace and acquired land at SEZ Aerospace Park near Bangalore International Airport for establishing an exclusive Division for the manufacture of aerospace components and aggregates, fabrication of structural sub-assemblies, Jigs for Aircraft structures and migrate in manufacture of aircrafts and helicopters in the years to come.
BEML is already manufacturing and supplying Ground Support Vehicles such as Aircraft Towing Tractors, Multi-purpose Weapon Loader and Crash Fire Tender.
